This shows the amount of surplus energry we have exported back to the grid daily.

The general rule of thumb is that we allow the Luxpower 7kw Inverter to charge the house batteries up using the suppliers cheap rate during the hours of 2am to 5am. This is a known cost, once the house starts to drain the batteries after 5am then it's just waiting for when the sun to rise and the panels start to produce energy then several things may happen, like cover the house consumption then any surplus to recharge the house batteries to 100%, after that the surplus is exported back to the grid (unless the car is plugged in the the surplus goes to charging the car battery).
