This is my Energy section where our energy is monitored.

With high energy prices here in the UK (2023+), we made a decision to invest in Solar Power for our house. At the time we were paying a huge monthly payments of between £200 to £280, so on the 26th January 2024 we had installation day

I wanted the largest/best solar panel setup we could afford. The roof is a fixed size and is facing SSE (South South East = 157 deg) so we have a good location, so to increase the capacity and therefore wattage I went for the highest wattage panels we could get, these being the Eurener 480w

The system we had installed was....
LuxpowerTek (aka Luxpower) 7kW Hybrid Inverter
Twin Hanchu ESS batteries (9.4kW each, total 18.8kW)
14 Eurener 480w panels

This setup is giving us a total generating capacity of 6.7kW

Also a Zappi 7kW EV car charger was installed at a cost price as we were considering a change of car to an electric car, in this case a MG4 Trophy.

These are my main energy stats shown here of what the system is currently doing today.
